Intersputnik Holding is developing its business in Central Asia

Intersputnik Holding company announced about the start up of the commercial activity of its second subsidiary OsOO Isatel at the territory of Kyrgyz Republic, which was established accordingly to initiative of IOSC Intersputnik within the program of establishing the communication operators in the ingressed countries.

OsOO Isatel is an operator of fixed satellite communications. The main activity of this operator is to provide fixed satellite services for organization inter-republican and international satellite channels as much as broadband Internet access. At present time the building of Central station in Bishkek is almost over. The station will provide the operation of advanced satellite VSAT terminals both in Kyrgyz Republic and beyond.

"We expect that the new enterprise of the Intersputnik Group can be a starting point for our development in Central Asia due to very convenient geographical location of Kyrgyzstan and the close relations with the neighbouring countries. As in the other regions worldwide, the satellite communications should influence the communication branch development and the economics of Central Asia's countries effectively," - said president of Intersputnik Holding Mr. Timoshenko Oleg. "Intersputnik invests advanced technologies, satellite capacity and its successful business-models into the Central Asia's business development. We'd like to remind that the first operator of the Intersputnik Holding Group was established in Russia and took the high positions at the already developed satellite communication market. At present time Intersputnik Holding provides communication services in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Central Asia in cooperation with its subsidiaries and partners. Besides the teleport in Bishkek the Group puts into operation the multipurpose teleport in Moscow provided geographical coverage for Far East, Europe, Africa and even up to the coast of America.
