The basic elements of the new strategy are closer cooperation of the Organization with its Members and Signatories, restructuring of the executive body, development of a concept of Intersputnik's phase-by-phase privatization and a number of other measures to make the Members and Signatories more interested in cooperating with the Organization when providing modern telecommunications services based on Intersputnik's satellite resource.

'Intersputnik boasts many years of experience in establishing and operating satellite communications networks with high customer service quality. It has close partner relations with telecommunications operators and manufacturers of satellite systems all over the world. - says Intersputnik Director General Vadim Belov. Intersputnik Holding Ltd. has established partner relations with Isatel, a licensed operator having approvals to offer services in the territory of Russia. Another partner is Bosphorcom, a European satellite communications operator that implements and operates full-scale projects in the EU and Eastern Europe. In the nearest future more providers including companies from other regions will join the group through acquisitions and establishment of affiliates of Intersputnik Holding in countries with the most attractive markets.

Intersputnik Holding's President & CEO is Oleg Timoshenko - an experienced manager in the field of satellite communications both in Russia as director general of Moscow Teleport and abroad as CEO of DeTeSat, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom (later re-branded as Plenexis).

'Intersputnik Holding's priority is to offer uniform technology and high service quality in newly established regional and transnational satcom networks regardless of the country where such services are provided' - says Oleg Timoshenko. 'In cooperation with regional partners we are going to offer customers in various countries a full set of services to establish satcom networks including network designing, supplies of equipment, leasing of satellite resources and round-the-clock customer support'.

Intersputnik Holding Ltd. enters the full-scale services market with package solutions intended for corporate users and telecommunications operators that plan to establish their own self-contained infrastructure based on satellite technologies.
